CURRICULUM:

To site a single source for the creation of MMA's curriculum would be inaccurate & ultimately would not do the school justice. Clearly, primary inspiration comes from the teachings of Maria Montessori, but other major contributors include Gandhi, Jesus and Kathryn Kvols, among others. Outside influence is welcome. If you have something to say that might enhance the experience offered to the children & parents, by all means, share!

Our discipline policy is rooted in the philosophy as observed in the Redirecting Children's Behavior course offered through the International Network for Children & Families. Textbooks are available at a highly discounted rate through MMA.
